The Matt Ryan/Dez Bryant trade has taken over that spot.

The new guy takes the top spot as most lopsided trade first week here :s
Who knows who ends up drafting Blackmon, and this year was a total anomaly with rookie WRs coming in hot outta the gate. If Blackmon ends up having a QB like McCoy, Gabbert, Kolb, Jackson, Moore, Grossman, etc tossing him the ball for the next few years I'd think that his value takes a hit... If he gets drafted by StL and Bradford continues to get pummelled and becomes the next David Carr, again takes a hit.
Sure, Dez is a highly touted WR... And if he realizes his potential he could be the next great WR and this would make the deal as lopsided as you feel it is. I have to hope that he continues to be a knucklehead.
I probably could've waited until FA to try and make a deal with Dez and Eli/Ryan, but at that point teams will have been filling their rosters and those players will probably have started to lose some of their value. With Brady, Romo, (and potentially) Brees/Rodgers all on the FA market, Eli/Ryan weren't really as valuable to few teams looking for a QB.
I'll be honest, I wish got a little more value out of the trade. Do I regret doing it? Not really. If I have a chance at drafting AP 2.0 and having him locked in for the next 5 years, I'll do it. At first I wasn't planning on doing the trade, but after watching various videos on Youtube of Richardson and seeing the type of physical specimen he is, I felt compelled to get the 1.01
That being said... This is the first time I've participated in this type of format, so this could all end up blowing up in my face and I'd have been

1.01 (Richardson) is a pretty hot commodity. One of the best RB's graded since ADP. I got Matt Ryan for 1 year, Dez for 3 more years, and 1.02 for 5 years. Honestly, I'd rather have 2.01 for 5 seasons at a cheap contract over Matt Ryan for 1 season...and needed more with 1.02 to move Richardson.
I dont believe this trade is anywhere close to these trades (one by yourself):
Bring the Pain gave up Johnson, Chris TEN RB
Dark Magicians of Chaos gave up Young, Titus DET WR;Housler, Robert ARI TE; Year 2012 Round 3 Draft Pick from The Executioners
Pacific Pigskins gave up Redman, Isaac PIT RB;Obomanu, Ben SEA WR; Year 2012 Round 3 Draft Pick from Midwestside Connection
Vitside Mafia gave up Bowe, Dwayne KCC WR

LOL... that's a pretty terrible trade. CJ blew up the next week too.
I think this trade for the rights to Richardson isn't that lopsided. In fact Ryan/Dez/1.02 might not even fetch the 1.01 after the draft.

Just wanted to add that I had a great time trying to make a deal with the Devil Dogs.
We'd exchanged a number of emails after my initial trade proposal to him and got some good advice going forward with this type of format. Hopefully trades going forward will be just like that!
Another month still before FA starts and the fun begins

I like the trade frankly. Ryan only has 1 more year and I've never really liked Dez due to Romo imploding every year and inconsistent *and* a pretty sizable contract for 3 more years.
For that he gets guaranteed (as much as that can be) stud RB for 5 years *plus* a very high 2nd and another 2nd next year.
I like the trade a lot if I'm the Wabbits.

LB, you sound like a used car salesman. Yes, CJ "blew up" the following week. He was also pumped out a stunning 3.55 the week after that and only outscored Young 4 of the 8 weeks following the trade. Not to mention nobody points out the other deal I pulled off at the same time moving Housler for DHB. Who by BTW outscored Johnson 5 of the 8 weeks after the trade.
Getting back to the topic....why does everyone look at Ryan as one and done? Last time I checked we can tag players and it would seem like money well spent to tag a top 10 QB. IMO too much weight is being put on the 18th overall pick in this years draft and the second rounder next year that could easily be as late as 30 overall.

Because not everyone has the same opinion or strategy, which is kind of nice. Otherwise we would never trade, right? I think it would be a lot more constructive and fun for everyone if we allowed everyone some latitude in running their teams, like we use to do.
I don't agree with your opinion on putting to much weight on those type of players. Maybe we can work out a deal, have any second rounders you want to get rid of?

There's always been smack in this league. Not to mention a board created just for it. IMO when you have a league where every trade gets approved (latitude) you need a board where you can can toss around opinions. Heck there are even emoticons available to use for it. Now with that being said I do agree that pointing fingers and yelling "collusion" is bush league and I do hope we never go down that road again.

Well, I personally have never been a big fan of Ryan and no way I'd pay 5-6+ million for him by tagging him. Not even close.
And I *love* 2nd rounders. Vast majority of rookies that have panned out for me have been 2nd rounders or later. Pretty much all my 1st rounder bust.

So, let's say next year he improves his stats, yet again, and this time cracks top 5 QBs. You still wouldn't tag him?

As I said above also, I'd rather have 2.01 over Ryan. It sounds like you like him quite a bit. He's available...

There's no denying that Matt Ryan has the perfect storm brewing in Atlanta to have a big year next season. Incorporating Quizz Rodgers into more of a Sproles type role, a full off season with Julio & Roddy, a last hurrah from Tony G...
I would've rather kept Ryan going into next season than Eli, but mainly because his cap hit next season will be half that of Eli's. I view them both as essentially equal in terms of fantasy potential, but having them both on my team in the final year of their contracts doesn't really do me all that great especially when I have a major need for a RB and some additional prospects.
If I ended up tagging both Manning and Ryan going into the 2013 season would mean I'd have a $5-7m sitting on my bench every week.

Ha!...
*I* sound like a used car salesman?!?!? Who's the one throwing around a bunch of meaningless and misleading "stats"? hmmmmm?
If you want a pitch though... you got it. The last 8 weeks you talk about post trade, CJ2k scored 99 points. Bey and Titus scored 65 and 64 respectively... they were 32 and 33 at their position... low WR 2. CJ on the other hand was RB 8... that's solid RB1 status.
And in the weeks from the trade up until the playoffs started, Chris Johnson was RB 4... Bey WR64 and Titus WR50.
I don't know about you but give me one RB1 over two WR3s any day....
especially when the salaries are even.
In the long run it may work out for you, but as of now, you've yourself got a lemon.
Go see Cal, Go see Cal, Go see Cal!

Those aren't the numbers from the last 8 weeks. During the last 8 weeks CJ (111.80) was RB8 while DHB (88.60) was WR18 and Young (81.20) was WR25.
Again my point was you were drooling over 1 week and I pointed out that if you broke down every week after the trade CJ washed with Young on week to week and lost to DHB. Seeing we play head to head each week and not total points it makes a difference. Plus, seeing there has been a lot of discussion about tagging it should be pointed out that CJ's contract is up after 2012. Could he come back in 2012? Maybe, but I don't see it happening with that O-Line. The worst part of that trade is that I didn't do it before last season when his stock was much higher.

No. Why do that when I'm developing several super cheap rookie QBs that can/could have similar numbers. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. If I'd have kept Stafford instead of trading him for Bradford right now I'd have a much better QB for pretty much nothing. If Bradford bounces back then I'm good again and Dalton looks pretty solid so far. I don't need a 6 million $$ QB on my roster at this time. If I wanted that I could trade for Big Ben right now but I'll pass.

Whoops... you're right. I meant last 6... weeks 10-16... the period in which the trades were in effect.
Bey and Titus averaged less than 9.5 points. CJ put up over 14.
No matter how you twist it with used car salesman logic, your pretrade team was more likely to win over that period.
I will concede that it wasn't the actual trade that was terrible so much as the timing.

Pretty happy with how this trade worked out.
I basically replaced Dez, Ryan, and the 1.02 with Richardson and AJ Green through a series of a few more trades from the picks acquired in this one
Can't wait to see Richardson join my squad tomorrow AM

Of course you did notice how my team imploded end of the season last year. Mostly due to injuries but still. The Romo curse! And now I have him again! What the heck am I doing?

Fire Ready Aim gave up:
Cassel, Matt KCC QB
McCoy, LeSean PHI RB
Moss, Santana WAS WR
Year 2013 Round 3 Draft Pick from Fire Ready Aim
Wascawy Wabbits gave up:
Dalton, Andy CIN QB
Williams, DeAngelo CAR RB
Cobb, Randall GBP WR
LaFell, Brandon CAR WR
Year 2013 Round 1 Draft Pick from Poker in the Rear
Thoughts?
That 1st rounder from Poker looks to be a high one. I'm skeptical about Shady ever replicating last year's numbers. Cassell and Moss suck and their contracts are high. I think WW prob loses this one in the long run.
