2015 Free Agency

Post by Wascawy Wabbits » Sun Mar 22, 2015 7:27 am

VJax for only $3.5m!??! WHAT A STEAL! Fitz only $3m?!?! Nice snag, Degen!

A busted up Victor Cruz went for $5m? Yikes!

And Jamaal freakin Charles is at $15m right now!!! WHOA! LVE must be banking on him being the missing piece to go w/ the promising rookies he drafted last season.

To build on this.. Heath Miller and Witten went for GREAT prices. For a TE1 in our league, they came nice and cheap! If I had traded away Graham just a LITTLE BIT EARLIER, those prices would've been higher.

Overall this was a pretty poor free agency class in my estimation. The good players were tagged. Next year could be pretty interesting though.

Usually, when the commissioner has a good team, these are the kind of polls you see...

This year was all kinds of awful... Only 2 real difference makers this year w/ Sanders and Charles.
Lots of $$$ was floating out there prior to FA, and there's still lots of $$$ available.

Devil Dogs w/ nearly $25m, opting to not overspend, but definitely drove up prices, on a mediocre FA class...
FRA w/ $10m still after missing out on Charles.
Gridiron Geeks w/ $12m still after trying to find value and not going hard after any particular players.

This definitely wasn't a year to need a QB. Looks like I should've kept Cutler rostered instead of dropping him before the cut deadline!

I'll prob be kicking myself all season for letting Spiller go so cheap. I didn't LET him actually, I had planned on bidding him up Friday night sometime but just got distracted by life and woke up on Sat morning seeing he went for 3.1m... profanity ensued.

FWIW my proxy bid on Spiller was set at 5 million.
