All Players acquired in Free Agency will be given a default contract of 1 year, if you would like a longer contract, you must submit the contract within 24 hours of the signing (48 hours in the offseason), you may do this by adding comments to the transaction or by posting on the league message board.

Usually, when the commissioner has a good team, these are the kind of polls you see...

Actually, can he be signed at all? He's not actually in the NFL yet and won't be until after the Super Bowl I believe.

Yea, he's in the MFL pool and wouldn't be considered a rookie since he was already practicing with some teams but got cut.
There's at least 6 other guys on rosters without a team. No reason why they would be able to be rostered and he would not.

Ugh, I thought we changed the time period we had to add years?
And the constitution needs cleared up, under the first section that has anything to do with blind bid waivers it says:
"All Players acquired in Free Agency will be given a default contract of 1 year, if you would like a longer contract, you must submit the contract within 48 hours of the signing you may do this by adding comments to the transaction or by posting on the league message board."
Nowhere does that say anything about only being offseason waivers only.

Yep the only thing we have in our rule book is they need to be loaded on MFL.bonesman wrote:bonscott wrote:Actually, can he be signed at all? He's not actually in the NFL yet and won't be until after the Super Bowl I believe.

Looks like that was the 2013 constitution. I just removed the link to the old constitution that was on the forum.Devil Dogs wrote:Ugh, I thought we changed the time period we had to add years?

The links on the MFL page automatically link to the current year's version of the constitution so that is the best place—and should be the only place to view it now.
