FA Contracts
After signing a free agent, when do we have to assign a contract? I assume we do that in the Player Contracts forum?

Re: FA Contracts
Correct. I just cleared the forum of all of last years posts. You can see them in the archive forums if you want to see a couple examples.
After you win a player in the auction you have 24 hours to post a contract in that forum or the player will just get the default 1 yr contract. Put everything in the subject so the commish can quickly scan.
QB, Brett Favre - 3 yrs
Something like that is all that's needed. You'll see soon how other people post.

Re: FA Contracts
For curiousity's sake, I noticed that the Brandon has never posted the years for the players that he's won in FA.
I think Brandon does an AWESOME job as a commish, but there's no record for any of his FA's that were signed looking back in all of the archived forums. I trust him and don't think that he'd ever consider pulling a fast one on any of us, but it's nice to see a forum post for how long a guy gets signed for.
I was curious to see how long he was going to sign his FAs for, but had to look at his roster for the updated roster instead of seeing Player Contract posts about them. It didn't come up last year because Welker / Brady were both high priced rental FAs.

Re: FA Contracts
I hear you, the reason I don't is that I can change my own posts, so if I wanted to pull a fast one that is not a secure place for me to do it. The original intent of the forum was so I could quickly update MFL with the contract years. But I know its doubled as a reference point as well. What I've tried to do is put my contract years on the previously processed waiver report. Which works great unless its for an auction or FCFS. I've put in a request to MFL to have them add a text box when adding FCFS waivers but so far they haven't done that.

Re: FA Contracts
Thanks Brandon
It's like you said, the player contracts portion is (has become) a reference place for all of us to see. I'm not surprised to see you going the extra distance to have your salary years tracked as well somehow.
