If we need to vote I vote to do a regular email draft with an 8 or 12 hour timer. We are in no hurry and this will give us all time to research our picks, particularly in the 2nd round.

I agree with this!

I'd like to push for a 12hr clock do to all the different time zones.

:) That's a great reason.

I think I forgot to hit submit a few weeks ago, I was typing out what we would do. :wall:

I was thinking we would start on that Friday, 12 hour time limits and go until we're done. That way we can maximize as much of the weekend as possible. If you won't be available for your pick let me know and you can call the pick in, or just set up a draft list for the first few picks.

Let me know if that works for everyone.

Works for me. So that's Friday, May 2nd to clarify.

I'd guess that just about everyone here has done an MFL email draft.

If not, it's called an "email" draft because you'll get an email when each pick is made. Assuming you turn that on in your profile on the web site that is. So that way you'll know right away (assuming you can check your email) that it's your pick.

And you can pre-draft. So let's say the pick on the clock is 2.05. I'm 2.07, 2 picks away. I'm going to be stuck in meetings all day. I can put in a pre-draft list of 3 players I want and when my pick comes up I'll get the highest of those 3 players left and not hold up the draft. I could instead put in a draft list in the system and if I don't pick by the time my timer expires it will take the top player on that draft list. Otherwise it will skip my pick.

But with only 2 rounds and it being early May I doubt any of us will be too worried about holding up the draft. :dukes:
