Cap Hits on Google Drive

Hey guys. I host the cap hits spreadsheet as well as a few other league documents on my own web server that I've had for about 15 years. Well, in today's world I really don't need this server anymore and I'm getting tired of paying for it.

So I'm experimenting with Google Drive sharing to see if that can replace it.

Here is a link: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B153Ay ... zhtX2Rhc28

Please try the link above to see if you can get to the cap hits. It should show a preview of it which you can view or print. Also I believe you can download the original Excel copy for yourself if you wish.

You do NOT need to have a Google account to access as it's anonymous access to those I share the link to. I have tested in Chrome and IE.

Let me know if you can access and if you have any problems or not.

This is just a test, if it works then I'll move all the league documents I host to G Drive.

Thanks! :sweet:

Looking good guys. I just updated it with the latest drop and looks like it's updated just fine on that link.

I'll let it go another week just to make sure then I'll make the switch permanent and contact Brandon to update any links on the web site. I think this will help everyone to access it no matter your OS (and on mobile too). And it will save me $100 a year in web hosting I don't need anymore. :)

:yippee:

Ok, I've permanently changed over to Google Drive for this and other documents that I keep track of. I'll post another thread about this and email the Commish with links to update the web site.
