You can't simply "pause" the auction. I know we talked about doing something like that and if I recall it we tried a work around and it was a mess but the big difference is that March is going to be a very busy FA time whereas late may isn't and with them doing site wide enhancements I don't want to run the risk of losing info either.bonesman wrote:Didn't we pause the auction last year for Memorial Day weekend?

This was the response, the work arounds suggested won't work for us, we tried the first one before and that was a mess and I think the best way for us to handle the second option is to just start our auction on the 29th.Brandon:
Technically, the timer is based on the wall clock, and not our servers actually being up. In other words, players could potentially be awarded as soon as the sites are up and running again.
So, you might want to consider a couple of ways to avoid this, including:
-right before the 28th, temporarily extend your auction timer to several days or so, to prevent auctions from expiring as soon as the leagues come back on-line.
-make sure all auctions are over before the 28th, and then re-start new player auctions on the 29th.
