Contract Cap 101 for newbs

Just a reminder that you have 80 total years to spread among all your players, including rookies you will draft in May.
All contracts reduce by 1 each year (in Feb).
When you drop a player you get all their contract years back. So if a player has a 4 yr contract and you drop them, there is no penalty as you get all 4 years returned to you. Of course there would be certain salary cap penalties but there are none for contracts.
