Which draft pick is consumed for tagged players?

Apologies all for asking this as I know this was discussed, but I could not find the string ...

I seem to recall that as long as you have draft picks available you can bid on mulitple tagged players. Is that correct? According to the constitution it states "Owners can not bid on multiple tagged that will exceed what they have to give for compensation. For example, Team A has all of their natural draft picks, they can bid on one FP (1st&2nd draft picks) or they can bid on one TP (1st round draft pick) and one UFA (2nd round draft pick)." So I wanted to get this clarified.

Presumming you can bid on mutliple tagged players, when bidding on a tagged player and you have mulitple 1st or 2nd round picks available which one is given up to the owner of the tagged player?

Again, apologies as I know both of these were discussed, but I cannot find the answers. :dunno:

Thanks,
DMOC

Yea, I thought we clarified this as well but looks like the constitution needs updating. I'll see if I can dig up the old thread.

Found it: http://forum.theleague.us/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=509

Basically you give up your "natural" original draft pick or the highest pick you have if you no longer have your original pick. Also if you have enough extra picks you can bid on more then one tagged player.

I reworded the example and included the draft pick disclaimer to make it more clear.
