PPR for RBs

I feel a scoring change would still take a 100% agreement in change though.........anyone disagree with that point? I may be able to be persuaded.....but not so far.

I've never been in a league that requires 100% agreement and I honestly think I would never want to. I can live with losing a vote because the majority doesn't agree with me , but not because one owner disagrees with everyone else . The NFL doesn't even require 100%

The other thing to consider is that this league is different than a true dynasty league. Ever player is under contract only for a certain period of time, not for life, so if we ever came up with a rule that really effected the balance of the league. Teams are able to quickly adjust via free agency. This particular change is very minimal IMO but in the event we actually voted on a huge change teams can still adjust.

The NFL tweaks there rules and/or points of emphasis in the off season and there are teams that benefit more than others but the league as a whole manages to adjust.

I'm sorry I used the word draft instead of auction. My money was allocated just like a cheatsheet. The values ended up being more than I expected but I did have a cheatsheet. I grabbed RBs like Lendale White and Fred Taylor because they weren't expected to be heavy contributors in the passing game and more TD friendly. This strategy also made me focus more on WRs because I felt they should score more and would serve me better at the Flex position.

I just think if we want to change scoring rules then we should just re-start the league. I'm sure everyone can agree that the setup of the auction settings didn't allow for much auction strategy...Just throwing that out there

Its funny that the you are insinuating the rest of us didn't even look at the scoring system before we "auctioned". I like the scoring system we had in 2007 I know it works well, as I've used it for the past 5 years in another league, but a lot of people wanted PPR for RB's. After hearing dialog back and forth, we voted, most people agreed to add PPR for RB's. Not even just a simple majority either. We still have a couple hours until the poll is finished but so far, 75% of the league has no issue with adding .25 PPR for RB's.

That's not going to happen, once "the people have spoke" so to speak and that's how we, as a league, will go.
