I'm just wondering if it's possible to have a minor scheduling update happen next season.

Looking at all of the schedules, the following divisional opponents are matched up twice in the first 3 weeks.
MW vs Vit, PP vs Saber, LB vs Degen, Poker vs LVE, WW vs BTP, Exec vs Amish, DD vs DMoC, TC vs FRA

It'd be nice to see that 2nd game moved to the 2nd half of the season when we have our 2nd matchups against our other divisional opponents.

I don't know how difficult it would be to move around the base schedule, and I don't know if others would also like to see their 2nd game against their div opponent later in the season, but it's something I'd like to propose.

I think it was all messed up this year because of the expanded bye weeks and Brandon tried to move things around them. For example not all teams have double-headers the same weeks.

This indeed really needs to change. Bye weeks be dammed we really need to just go back to a consistent schedule like we had before this year and not try to hand pick what weeks a team will have a double header. Had to do it in all my other leagues, it's just the way it is.

The schedules last year and this year, I think, are identical outside of the week 12 double headers BYE week issue.

The two games vs the same team in the first 3 weeks happened last year as well.

Yeah I agree its not ideal. We use to do division games the first 3 games of the year and the last 3 but we also have in our rule book that division games and double header weeks won't be on bye weeks whenever possible. Couple years ago the NFL moved their bye weeks and we had to adjust.

I looked at the schedule for the 2011 season and noticed that it was different compared to the 2012 & 2013 schedules. Stupid week 12 BYE...

Honestly I think we just need to deal with divisional games in bye week 12. When you start trying to custom schedule games in hopes of finding a week where the bye's "don't hurt" you are really going down a slippery slope there. Especially when trades and injuries change all that anyway. Set the schedule and forget about it, we just need to deal with it and not worry.

Just swap out that team with another division matchup later in the season.

Once we figure out the other schedule vote we can tackle this one, but I think that is pretty reasonable.
