Is it totally necessary to shake up the divsions? One of the things I love about dynasty is developing rivalries between the other teams in your division. I understand it's only our second year, but if/when another owner leaves the league in 3-4 years I would hate for one of my divsion rivals to be moved out of my division just for geographical reasons.braven112 wrote:Some bad new, sabertooths is going through a family emergency and will no longer be able to play fantasy football for the foreseeable future. Sucks, take car bro!
I have one guy on the waiting list that I have already contacted and it appears he'll take over the team.
Many of you probably know joe.commish from the MFL board. He'll be a great addition to the league!! If he does end up taking over the team we'll have a small division shake up as well. He would move into the Midwest division (Green Bay area) and Dark Magicians of Chaos would move over to the Pacific (Sacramento).
I should know by the end of the day whether he'll be in for 100% sure or not.
I'm going to setup a separate forum/subforum for future potential owners so that we're always covered in case of emergency. If anyone has anybody they have played with in other leagues that they feel would be a great addition to the league post them their.
We are looking for owners that extremely active, and equally as important, good people. We are lucky to have such an amazing group of owners and we always want to keep it that way.

Re: Future New Owners
We would have to look at it on a case by case basis. Since its only our second year we haven't had time to really develop any major rivalries. 3 or 4 years down the road things could be different. Either way a lot of dynasty leagues do change up their divisions, some are set to change every few years no matter what. FWIW
But if for example we lose an owner and the new owner replaces a team in the Pacific division and he is a buddy of yours in Cleveland then he'll most likely be placed in your division and the other divisions would be tweaked to allow for that. When ever possible though I want to keep natural rivals to together 1st, then geographical rivals together and/or longtime division rivals together. I'll just have to look at it objectively on a case by case basis when it does happen. I hope we don't ever have to but we obviously may.

Usually, when the commissioner has a good team, these are the kind of polls you see...
