I have a proxy out there and will not increase it and if you would like to know it I will tell it you only if you want to overbid me but if you want to try and bounce my bid, all I can say is buyer beware

I knew it would eventually happen. I like it. It makes drafting that much more important.braven112 wrote:I never expected this many guys would go over 10 million per season. The franchise tags next year are going to be interesting.
I was referring to that and the 16 times that B2M outbid me on Matt Cassel so he could have 3 overpriced QB's thus forcing me to "pay it forward" Then he grabs the salt shaker and offers to trade me Cassel. well played sir.bonesman wrote: Did you really just bid on Alex Smith after winning McNabb? Well, what is happening with Andre Johnson and a few others is what has happened to me in most previous years. I see nearly the same level guys go early at what now are bargains and eventually I give up on the way to high price because I'm just not going to strangle my team with a player like that. This year though I was on the other end of the stick with everyone giving up on a guy like Jennings and going after the Johnson boys instead and I got Jennings pretty early at what now looks like a great price considering. Thus for the first time ever I actually have a couple solid guys at RB and WR. Maybe I'll actually make the playoffs finally.braven112 wrote:Oh yeah drafting his huge, I guess a lot of teams have finally rid themselves of the über contracts that we had in our first couple season and now there is more money to throw at these guys, starting the cycle again

My new most disliked owner would have to be the newb Midwest Connection. Thanks for taking Jacoby Ford from me (I should've just kept my opening bid at 3.5m and let what happens happen, but I lowered it to bid up some other guys)... I hope he ends up as sucky as the rest of the WRs on your roster.
Biggest WTF headscratcher to me this auction though is B2M nabbing 3 QBs and dropping multi mills on those RBs. Good deal on Lloyd but I bet you try to move him and/or a QB for a starting caliber RB sooner than later.
BTW: what happened to the order of this threadweird
BTW2: Happy Bday Amish
This is normally where I tell people to Bow Down to the Midwestside, but in actuality I was on the fence regarding Jacoby Ford around the 2.5m mark because I'm always afraid Al Davis will find some new and innovative way to fuck everything up for me.bonesman wrote:My new most disliked owner would have to be the newb Midwest Connection. Noone in this league. Witch City drafted him. Probably decided not to give him a multiyear contract because he was fighting for 3rd string on the Titans and had just made the news for getting into another fist fight around the deadline to assign our rookies years.bocious wrote:who the hell signs LeGarrette Blount to a 1-year contract midway through his rookie season so he either has to be tagged or auctioned 4 months later?
It may be but almost all my draft picks suck arss and are out of the league in less then a year. I *finally* hit on the two QBs (Stafford and Sanchez) and Jimmy Graham looks to finally be a good pick at another position. Other then that the draft has not been my friend at all.LV Elite wrote:The draft is HUGE in this league!
That makes more sense. I assumed he'd been picked up after going to TB.bonesman wrote:Noone in this league. Witch City drafted him.
