Auction start time
I think we've started it at noon EST the past couple seasons. I would propose we move that up to 10am. The reason is that the first guys coming off the board were at 1:00-3am EST. Ummmm, I've been in bed for at least 3 hours already! I know, I know, it's a Friday night. But us old farts have a hard time staying up to 2am these days. This year I actually set my alarm for 1:30 to get up and check things. Wife was not happy.
So if it started a couple hours early that would really help EST people. If we started at 10am then the early guys would start coming off the board by 11pm or so. That's a bit easier to manage.
Please help us old EST guys.

The setting of the alarm bit is fricking hilarious.
I'd be cool with a bump up in start time as well as I was just watching a little NFL network...waiting...waiting...waiting.

I'm on the West Coast and starting the auction earlier in the day would not be an issue from perspective. I would be fine moving it to even earlier than 10AM, say to 8AM.

That would be cool too. That means the earliest players might start going off the board at 8pm/5pm (EST/PST) Friday evening. But the majority would start going in the core part of the evening and could make a fun chat room as guys get bid up and sniped. When I got up at 1:30 there was a pretty active chat room but obviously only west coasters.yugimoto wrote:I'm on the West Coast and starting the auction earlier in the day would not be an issue from perspective. Re: Auction start time
How about making the timer 48 hours instead of 36 so that the players come off the board the same time of day that the bid is made?

Re: Auction start time
Personally, I would prefer an earlier start time to go along with a shorter window of maybe 24 hours but completely understand the reason for 36. A 48 hour window is too long in my opinion. My

I think we could move it up a couple hours. 7am is a reasonable time for the west coast. That gives us some time to make our coffee before we head to the computer.

Usually, when the commissioner has a good team, these are the kind of polls you see...
