Full PPR
How about we finally go full PPR instead of the "baby" PPR we have now?
If tiered PPR must remain then go with .5 for RBs, full 1 pt for WRs and 1.5 for TEs. That's most common I've seen when doing it by tiers.

Re: Full PPR
I definitely wouldn't have considered drafting a TE so early if we were to change to a full PPR for all positions... Nor do I think BTP would've drafted 3TEs. I don't think we'd be able to implement this change to a standardized full PPR across the board for a number of years as it affects the makeup of our current rosters / recent draft & FA strategies.bonscott wrote:How about we finally go full PPR instead of the "baby" PPR we have now?

The other PPR change lowers the impact of a dominant TE a bit... Going from 4x the PPR advantage over a RB to 3x, and 2x over a WR to 1.5x. I think I'm fine with the way that the PPR tiers are right now?

I agree with above.
I do not like a full PPR system.
I am open to doing a tiered PPR like Scott mentioned... but I think if we were to make that switch, it would need to be implemented 2-3 years down the road.

I like the tiered system. I use that in another league and I really like it but I agree that it would have to be done a few years out.

Usually, when the commissioner has a good team, these are the kind of polls you see...

Re: Full PPR
I only bring it up because of all the leagues I'm in, this is the only one that doesn't use "pure" PPR. It's just odd in this day and age.

Re: Full PPR
I think it's kinda fun having the PPR as tiered, in addition to having our weekly lineup requirements the way they are, since it adds some additional strategic line setting each week.bonscott wrote:I only bring it up because of all the leagues I'm in, this is the only one that doesn't use "pure" PPR. If the PPR wasn't tiered, I doubt anyone would have more than a couple TEs rostered since a TE wouldn't really add anything to your lineup... Longshot / flier TEs would probably just be sitting on the waiver wire since they'd have next to no value compared to a RB or a WR.
I thought it was kind of weird at first when I joined last season, but I actually kind of enjoy having it Haha

I like it as-is or with .5/1/1.5. I agree that if we change it we should push out the effective date to at least 2014 so people can adjust their rosters.

Re: Full PPR
I don't mind it tiered at all. In fact my own league is 1 pt for RB/WR and 1.5 pt for TE.
Guess I'm just tired of ".25" per reception...it's basically zero.
With 16 teams I would think we would want to deepen the RB and WR pool a bit by offering more points per reception in an attempt to give the "3rd down" backs and WR 3/4 on NFL teams a bit more value.
