Maybe I should trade away all my 1sts like I did last year.Achon44 wrote:So, if Scott gets him does he have to give up an '09 #2 pick?

Dunno why you would even draft a player in the first anymore, you've trade them all away!bonscott wrote:Maybe I should trade away all my 1sts like I did last year.Achon44 wrote:So, if Scott gets him does he have to give up an '09 #2 pick?

Here's hoping he stays healthy, unlike every top player on my team last year (the MWC curse).

Re: Greg Olsen-RFA option 2
I don't think he's missed a game in the 5 years I owned him
(how did I have him for 5 years though?...I know I traded for him.... must've been after FA but before the season? I thought it was only 4 years, but his contract is expiring at the same time as Cam's and I know I had him for 5 years and targeted Olsen as soon as he left the Bears. hmmmmmmmm)

Re: Greg Olsen-RFA option 2
If we go back, I drafted him in the initial startup auction in 2007 his rookie year.
In 2008 I traded him:
Las Vegas Elite gave up Boss, Kevin NYG TE; Year 2008 Draft Pick 1.12
Amish Rakefighters gave up Olsen, Greg CHI TE
And I turned that pick into.....wait for it....James Hardy, BUF WR that flamed out in a year.
Jamaal Charles went 3 picks later at 1.15! Or Jordy Nelson at 2.03!
It's fun going back and seeing these old trades and drafts to see what might have been.
