Thanks to Amish for putting in the request to MFL. Starting tomorrow, MFL will automatically enforce our rule where you can only put rookies on the Taxi Squad.

Now we just need them to track our future cap hits rule!

And the hits keep on coming. Starting tomorrow there will be a new option:

New input field on the "taxi squad setup" page called "Once promoted, an owner cannot demote a player again to the taxi squad for: days" - you can set that to something really high (like 999 days) to enforce the "a player can never be demoted again" run.

Basically this allows for leagues that have rules that once you promote a player you can't demote them again. Not sure if this type of rule really fits in this league but it's now an option that doesn't need to be tracked manually.
