Phones and tablets
I was curious how much everyone is using their phones or tablets to visit the site now a days and what features you guys interact with the most.
I plan on updating the slider and wanted to see what other aspects we might be able to improve as well.

Re: Phones and tablets
I only use my iPhone. The site is pretty rough on such a small screen, but the mfl platinum app works great. The only problem is our message board isnt linked over there. Anyway to make that happen?

Re: Phones and tablets
what i hate about using the site on a phone, and i barely ever do, is that the menu that's in the upper left doesn't work at all.... i'll try to zoom in and make sure i'm clicking on the right link and it takes me somewhere else everytime. occasional lineup changes on sunday morning is about all i really use it for. only checked out the app recently and that seems a lot better, but i noticed there was no field for contract years on the roster page

This platinum one is way better.... i see what you're saying about the message board not linking to anything though. Seems fixable.

Re: Phones and tablets
I'm not able to do anything with the apps or change the link for the message board on them since we use a 3rd party message board but i may be able to optimize the submit lineup page a little.

I think it'd be nice to have the message board updated to be a bit more mobile friendly. Come to the page on a mobile device and an optimized version displays instead of having to zoom on the thread titles to ensure that it's properly clicked

Re: Phones and tablets
I'm going to try and do that. The message board link may not work while I'm upgrading but this URL should work if the normal one goes down.Wascawy Wabbits wrote:I think it'd be nice to have the message board updated to be a bit more mobile friendly. Re: Phones and tablets
Home Page is fine for me, but I'm not a big fan of how the standings work now.
It's a lot of swiping to cycle thru the teams

What specifically isn't looking right and what browser? I'll look into fixing it.**Maverick** wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2017 4:57 pmDon't know about phones and tablets but for my PC it has gone terrible
Also some of the images might not appear correctly while I'm switching web host companies but it will clear up.

I'd like to add some buttons to click on for desktop here soon. I'll wait to do anything major till I see what MFL does in a couple weeks.Wascawy Wabbits wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2017 6:28 pmHome Page is fine for me, but I'm not a big fan of how the standings work now.

Re: Phones and tablets
Added keyboard navigation so you can use the left and right arrows to cycle through the tabs. The pagination dots below the slides are now also clickable.Wascawy Wabbits wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2017 6:28 pmHome Page is fine for me, but I'm not a big fan of how the standings work now.

Re: Phones and tablets
Looks like I'll be doing some design work over the weekend to take advantage of the new mobile friendly changes. They created a mobile friendly navigation but didn't force it to leagues that have custom designs (which was nice). As you can see the tabs look quite a bit different.

Re: Phones and tablets
Is the site going to be getting some more mobile optimization? The mobile menus kinda make things look all wonky...
Also, the formatting on the top performers page is all screwed up now ever since MFL updated the font

Re: Phones and tablets
I'd love to get some feedback on what modules we want to be displayed, how things are working on mobile and any other issues you see.
Here is the new site I'm working on.

The goals are to be mobile friendly, load faster and simpler ui.
